winter wonderland....

.....so the ducks have been enjoying this wintery, festive time.......

...ooOoooOooooOOoo indeed to the newest members of the disco tribe, they fun and funky and alittle bit spookey!!

out of this world.........

.....was the latest, one off duck creation. A galaxy duck with planets and stars scattered across its black glittered body.

a weekend of disco.....

......d.i.s.c.o filled the airwaves last weekend as the disco ducks hit the town of Ramsgate, not once but twice. The first was the disco-duck-oteque I set up as part of opening my studio to the public - they shaked their little tailfeathers good and proper!

The following day they were out in force, 200 in fact for the 'hook-a-disco-duck' event. These were special Disco Ducks created during workshops with the local community, one super glitterama was secretly picked as the 'diva' duck and whoever hooked this special one ducky won a prize. The boating pool had never looked so pretty!

.....as part of 'A Summer Squall', Ramsgate Arts Art festival taking place 28th-30th August 2010. On the 30th will be a Hook-a-duck event at the boating....but this is no ordinary hook-a-duck o no sir its Disco Ducks!! Groups across Ramsgate will be creating the most glamourous, glittery Disco Diva Ducks which will be hooked up and ready to be picked. Throughout the festival there will also be a duck display in the east wing of the boating pool - you'll be quackers to miss it!
